Hine Solicitors Gets Competitive…
On a very foggy Thursday at Ludlow, Mondoui’boy, an exceptional racehorse owned by Hine Law Racing and proudly sponsored by Hine Solicitors, excelled as he claimed victory by four and a half lengths in a 2m5f maiden hurdle, marking his first start for his new trainer and his first start over hurdles.
The six-year-old gelding, trained by Ben Pauling and under jockey Ben Jones, jumped fluently throughout, taking the lead as they turned for home before pulling clear to beat its closest opposition by four and a half lengths.
Mondoui’boy is a winner in our first week on the track and the beginning of what is likely to be a successful journey for him, with Hine Solicitors excited and pleased to be supporting British Horseracing as we approach the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals.
Other exciting prospects which ran for the firm this week are Loch Ness Pineau who was shaded into 2nd place by a neck in a very competitive bumper at Hereford on Monday and Last Round who took 4th position in the winners enclosure after its first maiden hurdle.
With three more store horses set to join this trio later this year, here’s to more successes ahead for Hine Solicitors and Ben Pauling!
By way of background, our owners Tony and Alison Glover have had eventers and showjumpers for over 20 years. Tony is still a keen horserider and contacted Ben Pauling in May 2025 with a view that our subsidiary company, Hine Law Racing, invest in stock for him to train and support his quest for the Great British Racing Trainers Championship title.
