In order to get ahead of the game and cause as few delays as possible once you have found your buyer, here some things to get ready before and whilst your house is being marketed:-
– Planning Permissions
– Building Control Completion Certificates, including FENSA and CORGI or GAS SAFE Certificates
– Guarantees for Woodworm, Damprot or Rising damp
– locate your title deeds
– furniture items that you are prepared to leave or sell to the buyer
– Utility bill information, including gas, water and electricity
– Maintenance contracts e.g. for burglar alarm or boiler
– Current mortgage account details
