Emails have been sent to members of the public falsely claiming to be from “Jane Hannaway” at “Hine Solicitors”. The emails relate to an outstanding invoice and invite the recipient to click on a link to access the invoice.
A concern is that the link may contain malware if clicked.
The emails appear to have been sent by “Jane Hannaway” but have actually been sent from false email addresses.
Any business or transactions through the email addresses above are not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or an individual authorised or regulated by the SRA.
