In the wake of the acquittal of Nigel Evans, former Commons Deputy Speaker, our Jennifer Mee appeared on BBC Radio Oxford’s Bill Heine programme on 20 April to discuss the implications of the case. Mr Evans, who has now had restored to him the Conservative whip, was critical of the financial cuts in the Criminal Justice System and the ways those cuts had impacted his case.
