We are pleased to announce that our Compliance Officer and Lexcel coordinator, Jennifer Mee, has been appointed to the Lexcel Technical Panel as of 31 August 2016.
Lexcel is the Law Society’s practice management standard. It is a scheme for any type of practice to certify that certain standards have been met following independent assessment. The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to firms who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
The Panel’s function is to provide advice and guidance to the Law Society on the Lexcel standard, and in particular to make sure that the standard retains its relevance for accredited practices.
We are proud of our Lexcel accreditation and it is an exciting opportunity for the firm to have one of its partners sit on the Panel and to influence the future of the scheme. Well done Jennifer!
